In this video posted by Nike it shows a Brazilian women doing ballet. Ingrid Silva has founded Blacks in Ballet and it’s purpose is to uplift black dancers in the white-centric ballet world. Like a lot of the posts I’ve talked about for Nike it is not about their clothing or sneakers. It’s about the world and issues we have today in society. Nike is right in the forefront of trying to promote change and to promote a more positive and equal society. Nike is voicing Ingrid’s dream of becoming a role model for black women and girls in ballet.
